Dale Rhodes has drawn and painted from a young age and has studied drawing and painting at a number of institutions including Julian Ashton Art School and short courses at the National Art School.
Dale has been a finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, the Black Swan Portrait Prize at the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the Northern Rivers Portrait Prize.
He has had four Moran semi-finalists.
Dale's work has been hung in the Border Art Prize twice and received a judge’s special mention.
Dale has held successful solo exhibitions at the Tweed Regional Gallery, Butcher’s Hook Gallery in Sydney and BSA Project Space.
