Byron School of Art has been delivering Year-Long programs in Visual Art since 2014. Our first Year-Long course, the Visual Arts Foundation Course, evolved into a two year course when we introduced the the Visual Arts Practice Course in 2015. As our students completed this level, the momentum gathered by their dedication and enthusiasm forged the way for a third study year to be added to the program, bringing in the Visual Arts Research & Portfolio Course in 2016.

Since these early years BSA has guided a steady stream of talented and committed visual arts students through these year-long courses, who developed strong work practices and investigated contemporary debate throughout their time here.

In 2017, the production of a Graduate Yearbook was introduced to the final year program as a group project, aiming to showcase the work and ideas of the graduating students as they complete their studies with BSA.
