The Byron School of Art (BSA) is a not-for-profit art school based on an international model of Artists Teaching Artists in a studio-based learning environment.
The BSA provides rigorous and practice-based programs in the visual arts and related fields, while also offering practical pathways to meet the individual needs of students. We aim to engender an understanding in the student that an art practice can be developed and sustained over a lifetime.
We offer support for emerging and established artists as well as an encouraging platform for the complete beginner. Students are guided in developing a strong work practice that is open to critical and creative thinking, informed by an understanding of contemporary debate and grounded in technical and practical abilities.
Courses are run by nationally recognised professional artists who bring a passion for their practice combined with extensive teaching experience.
