The Byron School of Art (BSA) is a non-profit art school based on an international model of Artists Teaching Artists in a studio-based learning environment.
Presenting rigorous and practice-based programs in the visual arts and related fields, BSA provides practical pathways to meet the individual needs of students. We aim to engender an understanding in the student that an art practice can be developed and sustained over a lifetime.
BSA offers support for emerging and established artists as well as an encouraging platform for the complete beginner. Students are guided in developing a strong work practice that is open to critical and creative thinking, informed by an understanding of contemporary debate, and grounded in technical and practical abilities.
Courses are run by nationally recognised professional artists, who bring to the school a passion for their practice combined with extensive teaching experience.
The Byron School of Art also offers mentorship for individuals and small groups, and works in partnership with c.a.s.e inc to offer monthly artist talks through Art in the Pub.
The Byron School of Art is located at 112 Dalley Street, MULLUMBIMBY NSW AUSTRALIA Ph. 0487 362 141
