Sam Sosnowski | Japanese Woodblock Printing
Artist Sam Sosnowski visited Japan in 2012 and studied Japanese woodblock techniques and hand printing with Richard Steiner in Kyoto. He has since taught and also participated in print workshops around the country to foster his own professional development.
During this introductory weekend workshop Sam will teach students how to create their own one colour woodblock prints, also covering basic design concepts, transfer of your concept onto the block, woodblock cutting, and printing with a Japanese baren.
This workshop is suitable for all levels from the beginner to the more experienced artist.
