Sharon Muir

Sharon Muir is a professional visual artist, working with the disciplines of watercolour painting and drawing. Her artworks have been selected for nationally recognised exhibitions and awards and her works are held in public and private collections in Australia and Overseas.

She has been the recipient of numerous grants and residencies, attending her first international residency at Atelier Fourwinds in Provence, France, in 2019.

Sharon has a Diploma of fine art and has taught widely as a freelance art teacher, travelling to workshops throughout Australia, including touring outback QLD and NSW for three years as part of the Flying Arts Team.

Her artworks are inspired by the intricacy and beauty of the natural world and she lives and works from her tiny studio surrounded by nature.
