MICHAEL PHILP | 'SPIRIT' - A WEEKEND WORKSHOP
“What does spirit mean to you? Connection to country? To family? To one’s self? And how does that spirit move you in your daily life? Spirit is connected to who I am.” Michael Philp
In this workshop Michael will guide students to explore through art, how they perceive spirit in their daily life – connection to country, to family, and to one’s self, and how that manifests.
For Michael, art is a healing process that has proved to be both confronting and liberating. Artistic blocks have been a challenge for Michael but he has learnt to resolve them in a way that has strengthened both his art practice and his spirit.
Over the weekend you will be provided a safe place to explore your own creative spirit with no limitations. Michael will support you to let go of any negative self-talk that may be inhibiting you in your art practice. He is very passionate about sharing the skills he has developed over time. Michael says: “It is all about the process, but you will be surprised at what you can create after this shared healing experience.”
