Matthew E. Baird | The Ultimate (unfounded) Guide to Creative Thinking

- What is an idea? How to harvest them, how to grow the big one

- Creative Blockage: what is it and how to break it

- Abstract thinking vs literal thinking and how to go deeper

Visual Artist, Singer/Songwriter and Educator M.E. Baird presents 'The Ultimate (unfounded) Guide to Creative Thinking'. This one day long presentation will discuss issues relating to creative thinking and creative processes. Presented as an informal but informative discussion, this workshop will blow the myth on the notion that only intellectuals wearing black and sipping lattes have big ideas or understand big ideas. As artists, understanding how we think creatively and how to engage in a disciplined creative process is paramount to sustaining not only our artistic practice, but also perhaps our very existence. As non-artists tapping into our 'creative mind' (we all have one) can make life just that bit more exciting.

Suitable for all levels.

Workshop to be held at 112 Dalley Street, MULLUMBIMBY
