HILARY HERRMANN | STARTING / RESOLVING

This two-day workshop will focus on the creative process of starting a painting and navigating the various stages that follow. Hilary will support students to explore techniques such as mark-making and experimenting with different tools and textures. Students will learn how to step back, allowing space for reflection, with the aim of reaching a place of resolution and clarity.

Through guided exercises, students will explore the concept of letting go of attachment to preconceived outcomes, fostering bravery when uncertain and allowing the painting process itself to provide direction.

The workshop will encourage participants to trust their intuition and experiment freely, helping them to discover their unique expression while embracing the unpredictable nature of the creative process.

About Hilary

Dates | Saturday & Sunday 24 & 25 May 2025, 10am - 4pm
