HELLE JORGENSEN | THE ART OF BRUSHMAKING

During this one-day workshop students will create unique brushes using found objects and local plant materials. Helle will demonstrate and guide students in various knotting and lashing techniques, as well as cordage making. These handmade brushes can then be used for experimental mark-making or as sculptural objects, supporting a sustainable art practice.
