This seven-week course will introduce students to all aspects of still life painting. Dale will guide students through the history and contemporary practice of still life. Students will be guided further in exploring different approaches to starting and painting the still life. Dale will cover materials, surfaces and grounds, tonal relationships, colour and colour mixing. With Dale’s support, students will be encouraged to develop their own style and approach.
