In this 8-week course, students will investigate various ways to approach abstraction and push paint around.

Each week students will undertake a new technique and exploration into abstraction. Looking at representation into abstraction participants will also be mining contemporary practice for exciting and dynamic ways to approach abstraction.

Amber will help students begin to find their visual language and explore their own visual interests, offering a supportive learning environment while also fostering critical thinking.

This course is Part 4 of our 'Year of Painting' course at BSA. Students may enrol as part of the year-long course, or just by the term as they would with any other short course.
