Amber is a full-time practicing artist, awarded the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship in 2008 and cover artist of Australian Art Collector October – December 2011, featured in Artist Profile – Melbourne Art Fair Special Edition 2012. She has held solo exhibitions at Edwina Corlette Gallery Brisbane, Utopian Slumps Melbourne and Gallery 9 Sydney.
She has been included in select group exhibitions at Sydney Contemporary, Melbourne Art Fair, Tristian Koenig Gallery, Hazelhurst Regional Gallery, Tamworth Regional Gallery, The Ian Potter Museum of Art and Art Gallery of NSW.
Wallis studied at the Canberra School of Art and Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Canada, and completed her Master of Visual Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne.
Her work is held in the Artbank and Arthur Roe Collections as well as various private collections in Australia and internationally.
She is represented by Edwina Corlette Gallery, Brisbane QLD.
