YEAR 12 INTENSIVE VISUAL ARTS WORKSHOPS IN 2D OR 3D
This intensive two day workshop is for Year 12 Visual Arts students and is aimed at supporting and encouraging students to explore their skills in preparation for their final HSC major work.
This is essentially two workshops held simultaneously on one weekend. Students can choose to work in 2D - painting, drawing and printmaking or 3D – sculpture, assemblage and mixed media.
Students will explore traditional, technical and experimental processes, take part in lively discussion and debate around contemporary ideas, and apply critical thinking to their own and others’ work.
The BSA team aims to inspire and motivate students to produce work that is relevant and personally satisfying to them, and to ignite a passion and appreciation for visual art that will resonate throughout their lives.
There will be time allocated for students from each workshop to access the other studio and observe the activity of students working in the alternative media.
